The Aurora UFO crash of 1897- Another Hole in the Government Invented UFOs Theory.
Peter Beckinsale
In my research on UFOs, I found a fascinating article related to a UFO crash in Aurora Texas in 1897. I begin checking numerous and reputable sources and they all said the same thing. I will quote here what was said in the April 19th edition of the Dallas Morning News:
“About 6 o’clock this morning, the early risers of Aurora were astonished at the sudden appearance of the airship which has been sailing around the country. It was traveling, due north, and much nearer the earth than before. Evidently some of the machinery was out of order, for it was making a speed of only ten or twelve miles an hour, and gradually settling toward the earth. It sailed over the public square and when it reached the north part of town, it collided with the tower of Judge Proctor’s windmill and went into pieces with a terrific explosion, scattering debris over several acres of ground, wrecking the windmill and water tank and destroying the judge’s flower garden. The pilot of the ship is supposed to have been the only one aboard, and while his remains were badly disfigured, enough of the original has been picked up to show that he was not an inhabitant of this world.
Mr. T. J. Weems, the U. S. Army Signal Services officer at this place and on astronomy gives it as his opinion that the pilot was an native of the planet Mars. Papers found on his person… evidently the records of his travels… are written in some unknown hieroglyphics and cannot be deciphered. The ship was too badly wrecked to form any conclusion to its construction or its motive power. It was built of an unknown metal, resembling somewhat a mixture of aluminum and silver, and it must have weighed several tons. The town, today, is full of people who are viewing the wreckage and gathering specimens of strange metal from the debris. The pilot’s funeral will take place tomorrow”.
I want everyone out there reading this article to understand the significance of this story. People have argued with me in the past and told me that they saw a "special" on TV where it was showed that the Nazis invented UFOs. Or I will here people say that the US government invented them. Here are several reasons these theories are inaccurate.
1. The Aurora Crash of 1897 took place roughly ten years before the Wright Brothers first tested their airplane.
2. The SR71 Blackbird and Stealth Bomber were hidden from the public by the US government for maybe a decade or more before they were disclosed. The US government has never disclosed a UFO aircraft.
3. UFOs are clearly far superior in flight than conventional aircraft. During the 1800s, flight was mostly made with Air Balloons. Nuclear energy had not even been discovered and utilized, and Quantum Mechanics wasn't discovered until 1925. Are we to believe that any nation on earth was capable of producing aircraft of this type at that time?
4. The term "UFO" hadn't even been invented yet in the 18th century. There were no Alien movies or War of the Worlds films back in those days. It would be extremely difficult for the people of Aurora Texas to create a hoax this elaborate. And what would they stand to gain by creating a hoax?
One thing is certain, at least in my mind. These beings, whoever they are, have been visiting are planet for quite some time. The fact that they crashed in Aurora indicates that they are not perfect, can die, and make mistakes. It can also be concluded that their level of technology are hundreds, maybe even thousands of years ahead of us.

Common Debunker Statements Made About UFOs/Aliens and Our Responses
By Peter Beckinsale
One day I was in the local supermarket reading through what I believe was a Scientific American magazine. While thumbing through it, I found an interesting article inside. It was about conspiracy theories and why they are often wrong. The magazine cited numerous conspiracies throughout history and tried to debunk them. Why is the establishment so interested in debunking conspiracies? Could it be that there is truth in what is being said?
Here I wanted to list a bunch of typical statements made by skeptics regarding the UFO phenomenon and then I'm going to give my counter statement. Read it for yourself and be the judge.
1. Aliens could not be here because of the distances and energies required for interstellar travel in a reasonable period of time, according to present-day understanding of physical law.
Our Response - 300 years ago no one understood Quantum Physics, space travel, or Relativity Theory. The knowledge of humans are limited and more is being learned every day. Besides, what makes you think aliens are from another planet? What if they are from another time or dimension? It is a FACT that mainstream scientist are now saying that time travel is possible and does not violate any fundamental laws. What if UFOs are time machines? Humans have never even been to the bottom of Marianas Trench under the Pacific Ocean. When you talk about the distance and time necessary to make interstellar travels, you are right. But what if aliens have figured out a way to bend space or time, or to travel through wormholes or blackholes?
2. Lack of indisputable physical evidence
Our Response - There are thousands of pieces of physical evidence. They are called UFO video footage. Thousands of hours of footage have been taken of UFOs from around the world by people of different ethnic backgrounds and cultures. They could not all be hoaxes, could they? Numerous times UFOs have been seen on RADAR. Thousands of physical photographs have been taken, many at close range. They cannot all possibly be hoaxes. Then there are recorded visual spectograms, Recorded gravimetric and magnetic disturbances, and landing trace evidence such as burn marks in the ground. Add to this radiation detection and the physiological effects on humans and animals. Increased levels of radiation are also found. the list goes on.
3. The general sensationalization surrounding the subject, including the perception that many amateur researchers lack proper scientific training and instead have a "readiness to believe."
Our Responses - By this statement you are trying to say that "only qualified scientists with training and degrees" should be able to prove the validity of a UFOs or abduction reports. There are many holes in this statement. The first major hole is the fact that most universities offer no degrees in Ufology so how could someone become "trained" to investigate UFOs? What good would training in science do? Even the smartest people on planet Earth are limited in their mental capabilities. The smartest humans use only about 10% of their brain capacity.
4. The many circumstances that can lead to misidentification of ordinary objects seen at a distance in the sky--a scientific, skeptical approach can cast reasonable doubt on the "strangeness" of cases that appear at first glance to be very impressive.
Our Response - There have been millions of "circumstances" from around the world of people who are saying that they have all seen the same thing. How many of these "circumstances" can be misidentifications? Most people may not be Albert Einstein, but they are not stupid either. People generally know the difference between a conventional aircraft, the moon, a meteor, and a air balloon compared to a UFO. Your statement also does not take into consideration the overwhelming amount of physical evidence.
5. UFO/Abductions are hallucinations or dreams.
Our Response - You can't take pictures and video footage of a dream or a hallucination.
These are just a few of the many skeptical statements made by UFO debunkers. I think I have countered these statements well. I'm ready to debate anyone about UFOs and other conspiracies at any time.
